"人道养殖"本身是一个矛盾的概念——为了不必要的目的而杀害不想死的生命，在伦理上无法被"更好的待遇"所正当化。 "Humane farming" is an oxymoron — killing sentient beings who do not want to die for unnecessary purposes cannot be ethically justified by "better treatment."
The concept of “humane farming” suggests that we can exploit and kill animals ethically as long as we treat them “well” beforehand. But this misses the fundamental point: animals are sentient beings with an interest in continuing to live.
Even on the best “humane” farms, animals are killed at a fraction of their natural lifespan. The question is not how we use animals, but whether we have the right to use them at all when alternatives exist.
